Susan Joan Vanderpool Breedlove, of Western Grove, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her home.  She was 81 years old.

The daughter of Chester and Gwendolyn (Penfold) Berry was born on October 29, 1942 in Pasadena, California.

Susan was a faithful and devout Christian and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She always chose to put others first and was loved by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "R.B" Breedlove; the father of her children, James Owen Vanderpool; one sister, Sally Parton; and her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip Vanderpool and wife, Rhonda and Steven Vanderpool; two daughters, Debbie Vanderpool and Julie Atkinson and husband, Anthony; stepchildren, Dennis Breedlove, Brenda Wilkinson, and Beverly Eddings; nine grandchildren; several step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Funeral service is Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.  Rev. Eugene Saul and Chaplain David Williams will officiate.  Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Mark Vanderpool, Jason Vanderpool, Shane Middleton, Chad Zabawa, Homer Kilgore, and Cory Middleton.  Honorary pallbearer is Greg Zabawa.
