Obituary
Johnnie Sue Brantley, age 60 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of Fonzo and Bessie (Tramell) Scott, she was born October 26, 1947 in Leslie, Arkansas.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her sister, Jo
Bryan.
Sue had been a resident of Boone County since 1961, moving from Van Buren County and was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband of 44 years, James Brantley of the home; sons, Jay Brantley and his wife, Rebecca of Bemington, N.Y. and Scott Brantley of Harrison; brothers, Charley Scott of Illinois and Martin Scott of St. Louis, MO; sister, Elsie Cope of Harrison; five grandchildren, Cristin Cone, Tianna Brantley, Dakota Scott Brantley, Catherine Brantley, and Vivian Brantley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many many friends.
There will be a memorial service for Sue 7 P.M. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Woodland Heights Baptist Church with Ernie Nelson, Raymond Stills, and Charles Christian officiating.
Memorials may be made in Sue's memory to Woodland Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.
