Steven Lee Mahler, age 14 of Harrison, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 21, 2007. The son of Scott Lee Mahler and Melissa Elliott was born August 31, 1992 at Harrison. Steven played on the Jr. Basketball team at Lead Hill, where he attended school. He was a very out-going and fun loving person, who enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, skateboarding, all athletics, play station and listening to music.
His maternal grandfather, Ernest Leon Elliott and paternal grandmother; an aunt, Susan Gonzales; and a cousin, Debbie Barfield all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother Melissa Elliott of Harrison; his father, Scott Mahler of Omaha; his maternal grandmother, Frances Elliott of Harrison; one sister, Ashley Hardy and one brother, Jake Kolb both of Harrison; uncles, Chris Elliott of Harrison and Jackie Mathis of Calif.; aunts, Angela and Tracy Elliott both of Harrison; a niece, Elizabeth Hardy and a nephew, John Hardy, Jr.; numerous cousins and other family.
Visitation was Thursday, at Coffman Funeral Home. Service was Friday, at the funeral home with Bro. Tim Cooper officiating and Zeola Yeager assisted. Burial was in Sand Hill Cemetery at Yardell. Pallbearers were Ernest Elliott, Jake Kolb, Ronnie Barfield, Shawn Dillon, Kenny Ryder and Nickolas Nunez.
