IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven Gregory
Henrikson
December 15, 1955 – December 17, 2023
Steven Gregory Henrikson, age 68, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at home on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
The son of Jack and Maureen (Goffin) Henrikson was born December 15, 1955 in Arrington, Cambridgeshire, of Cambridge County, England at the USAF Military hospital located at Wimpole Park.
Steve enlisted in the US Marine Corp March 29, 1974 and served his country during the Vietnam War as Platoon Leader. He was honorably discharged on April 2, 1976 at the rank of Corporal. He moved to Harrison in 1981 from Osakis, Minnesota. He worked in purchasing at Pace Industries for 24 years.
Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. He loved and devoted his life to his family, and he loved the Lord. Being Dad was his greatest accomplishment until he became Papa. That was the ultimate title of his life, and he wore it like a badge of honor. Helping others was a way of life for him. He never met a stranger because he was going to talk to them no matter what. When someone acknowledged his Marine service, it would make him smile while having a tear in his eye.
To say he was loved and will be greatly missed is an understatement. We were blessed by God to be chosen his family and friends – Semper Fi Papa!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Maureen Henrikson; his brother, Hans Henrikson: a nephew, Josh Sisco; and his father and mother-in-law, Stanley and Betty Ann Skurat.
Steve is survived by his wife of 45 years, LuAnn E. Skurat Henrikson of the home; his son, Craig S. Henrikson, and wife Misty of Harrison; two grandchildren, Alexus E. Henrikson, and McKenzie Williams; his aunt, Kathleen Klugg; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Linda Williams of Willard, MO, Dennis and June Sisco of Western Grove, AR, and Heidi Skurat Harris (John McCauley) of Little Rock, AR; nieces, Samantha Williams and Daria Harris; nephews, Scott Sisco and wife Cady, Jeremy Sisco and wife Kayla, Chad Williams and wife Makita, and Darby Harris; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, extended relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home.
