Obituary
"Steve" Film, age 59 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR.
He was born July 21, 1949 in Troy, New York, the son of William H. and Helen (St. Pierre) Film.
"Steve" was a veteran of the US Army, having served his country during the Vietnam Era. After his discharge from the Army, he lived in the San Francisco, California area for a couple of years, then later lived in Texas and Oklahoma. While living in Oklahoma, he worked as a horse groomer. In 1979, he moved to Newton County which he has called home for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his father; and good friends, Maury, Terry and Marie.
Survivors are his mother, Helen Film of Morrisville, North Carolina; four brothers, William Film of Jasper, AR, Rick Film of Morrisville, North Carolina, Kevin Film and Bob Film both of Nassau, New York; one sister, Dawn Shaver of Saratoga Springs, New York; Sandy, Michelle, and Levi Rose; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
