Sonny James Henderson, age 64 of Deer, AR, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR.

The son of James Robert and Faye (Taylor) Henderson was born July 30, 1957, in Harrison, AR.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Garnet and Roy Earl Henderson; his sister, Mary Lou Ham, and his granddaughter, Summer Henderson.

Sonny attended Wayton Freewill Baptist Church. He was a man of great faith and knew the Bible well. He enjoyed playing music, hunting, and fishing. He was a well know prankster and loved teasing his kids and grandkids.

Sonny is survived by his wife Faye (Dillow) Henderson of Deer, AR; his son Brock and wife Nickie Henderson of Deer; his daughters, Chasity Bryant and husband Daniel of Jasper, and Brianna Daniels and husband Chris of Jasper; his sister, Glenda Casey of Deer; 5 grandchildren, Moriah Henderson, Kadence Henderson, Kaylynn Bryant, Kyndell Daniels, and Kamdyn Daniels; 2 special nieces, June Coonts and Jolena Villines both of Jasper; and many more nieces and nephews and other family members.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 10, 2022, at Wayton Cemetery with Pastor Tony Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR.

Pallbearers will be Randall Tillotson, Orlan Kelton, Richie Henderson, Ryan Henderson, Mike Dillow, and Blake Dillow.

Honorary pallbearers are Robert Cain, Mike Collins, Teddy Waters, Tyler Henderson, Steve Henderson, and the Critical Care Unit at North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison.
