Obituary
Shirley Marie Thomas, age 54 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Dalton and Amanda (Lasley) Thomas was born November 4, 1959 in Kirksville, Missouri.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Luther Thomas and Claude Herbert Paul; and one sister, Joyce Thomas.
Survivors are sons, George Cruwell and Christopher M. Cruwell both of Independence, Missouri; brothers, Samuel Thomas of Green Top, Missouri and James Thomas of Kirksville, Missouri; and sisters, Mary Thomas of Independence, Missouri, Bonnie Barnett of Blue Springs, Missouri and Rebecca Cook of Independence, Missouri.
Funeral service was Monday, November 11, 2013 at Mossville United Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Young officiating.
Visitation was also Monday, before the service.
Burial will follow in Mossville Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shirley Thomas Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of the Ozarks, Harrison, Arkansas.
