Shirley Ann Eddings Marshall, 71 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at her home.

The daughter of Walter and Clara (McCutcheon) Eddings was born January 11, 1947 at Cave Creek, Arkansas.  She was a lifetime resident of Newton County and a member of Mount Judea Church of Christ.  She retired from teaching at Mount Judea School after spending over 25 years in the classroom.

Shirley dedicated her life to teaching children, both in the school house and in the church.  She was a friend to all and would help anyone in need.  Her two greatest joys in life were cooking for her family and friends and spending time with her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Clara Eddings; her sister, Tommie Stewart and two infant sisters.

Shirley is survived by her son, Jason Marshall; four brothers, Arlis Eddings, George Denton Eddings, Alan Eddings and Bill Eddings; two grandchildren, Samantha and Anessa Marshall and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Carver Cemetery with Jimmy Lee McCutcheon officiating.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
