Shirley A Fast, age 82, of Harrison, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at her home.

She was born February 17, 1935 and was raised in Valley Springs, the daughter of LL and Bessie Dodson.

On June 29, 1952 she married the love of her life Joe David Fast who preceded her in death on November 29, 2013.  Also preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, JW Dodson; one sister, Ruby Salmon.

Surviving are one son, Doug Fast, Branson, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy and her husband Gregg Hardesty of Fairbury, Illinois.

Shirley grew up and graduated High School in Valley Springs.  One of her loves was playing basketball through high school.  She started working at Jim Campbell Oldsmobile and Cadillac in 1967 and then Eddings Auto Group where she retired in 2012.  She attended Northside Church of Christ, when she could.

Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am at the Chapel.  Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison.  Pallbearers include Jim Campbell, Ben Eddings, Jeff Sanders, Greg Hardesty and Doug Fast.
