Shirley Ann Adams, 71, of St. Joe, Arkansas was called home on Friday, October 12, 2018.
She was born February 21, 1947 in Batesville, Arkansas to Vincent Edward Mayefski and Hazel May (Tilly) Payne.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sandi Allan (Kenny) of St. Joe; her sons, Michael Kendrick (Sarah) of Marshall, and Van Adams (Christina) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Will Basore, Adrian Adams and Dylan Kendrick and one step grandchild, Ian Parks; one very special great grandchild, Dawson Kade Basore; her special aunt, Maxine Tilly; several cousins and her beloved companion, her dog, Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Gary Adams.
Shirley and Gary married April 28, 1978. They brought together two families and made them one. Shirley and Gary had many business adventures. She deeply loved her family and many friends. She found great enjoyment decorating her house and arranging flowers. Everyone always felt welcomed and loved when visiting Shirley's house. She was very giving and helped many people through the years. Cooking for her family and friends brought her tremendous joy. Shirley never met a stranger. She will be remembered for her bigger than life personality and her great capacity for love.
Celebration of Shirley's life will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Terry Adams officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Stone Cemetery in St. Joe.
