Sharon Rose Spencer, age 55 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at her home in Jasper.

The daughter of Loyd and Violet (Alspach) Ricketts was born March 12, 1958 in Harrison, Arkansas.

She was a lifelong resident of Newton County and was a member of Jasper Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing and had worked for Levi Strauss as a seamstress for over 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her father and an infant sister, Reba Rae Ricketts.

Survivors are her husband of 34 years, Jerry Lynn Spencer of the home; mother, Violet Ricketts of Marble Falls, Arkansas; children, Heather Little and husband Darryl of Jasper, Stephen Spencer and wife Joellene of Jasper, J.J. Spencer and wife Shonti of Rogersville, Missouri, and John Spencer and wife Donna of Harrison; sister, Rowena Billings of Beaver Creek, Ohio; brothers, Clifton Ricketts of Western Grove, Arkansas, and Larry Ricketts of Harrison, Arkansas; grandchildren, Loyd Little, Brittanny Little, Christopher Spencer, Gregory Spencer and wife Alyssa, Brooklyn Spencer, Hunter Spencer, Shelby Myers, and Caitlyn Spencer. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Mallissa Coffman.

Visitation was Friday, March 15, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral service was Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. Steve Holt officiating.

Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Justin Ricketts, Jeff Ricketts, Stephanie Ricketts, Chris Spencer, Gregory Spencer, Jimmy Keys, Terry Brasel and Terry Clark.

Honorary pallbearers were the Class of 1976.
