Sharon "Gail" Diamond, age 65 of Harrison, passed away at her residence on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007. The daughter of Bertram and Helen (Fergerson) Stout, was born July 6, 1941 at Springfield, Missouri. She moved here in 1977 from East Moline, Illinois and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Gail graduated from North Ark. College, earning her LPN nursing degree and worked many years in ICU/CCU at NARMC in Harrison. She returned to NARMC as an auxiliary member and went on to become secretary and has been the active president for the past two years. She enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Those that preceded her in death were her first husband, Hoyt Knoles; her second husband, Johnny Diamond and an infant sister.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Monson and husband, Junior, of Harrison and her son, Stewart Knoles and wife, Betty of Harrison; two brothers, Johnny Stout and wife, Patty of Mandeville, LA and Arliss Weber and wife, Trish of Midland, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Tre' and Brent Disney, Blake Fowkes, Chris Knoles-Valentine, John Ross Roberts, Russell Nelms and Todd Monson.
Honorary pallbearers were NARMC Auxiliary, Dr. Cory Jackson, Sharon Sedore, Terry Harrison and all of the ICU/CCU staff that she worked with and Lee Snyder.
Visitation was held Monday, with the service Tuesday, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Dr. Shaymus Doyle officiated. Burial was in Crawford Cemetery.
