Shannon Greg Price, age 39 of Piercetown, passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 at his home. He was born August 16, 1970 at Harrison, Arkansas.

Shannon was employed with B&E Sawmill and was of the Holiness faith. He was a lifetime resident of Newton County.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest and Allie Price and Carroll and Iva Campbell; and one great nephew, Ethan Dwayne Farmer.

Survivors are his father, Joe Price of Piercetown; his mother and step-father, Ineva (Campbell) Morgan and Willie Morgan of Jasper; one sister, Delonda and Husband, Dwayne Farmer of Harrison; one brother, Mike and wife, Tina Price of Harrison; three nephews, Malcolm Farmer, Chris Price and Steven Price; two nieces, Cassandra Farmer and Ellen Price; one great nephew, Max Dwayne Farmer all of Harrison; many uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.

Shannon's funeral service was Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Piercetown Holiness Church with Bro. Charles Christian officiating. Burial followed in Smith Cemetery at Vendor.

Visitation was Friday, December 11, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers were Dwayne Farmer, Mike Free, Junior Royce, Shannon Campbell, Ryan Campbell and Drake Free.
Honorary pallbearers were Shannon's uncles.
