Obituary
Sentner J. Altena, age 84 of Rogers, Arkansas formerly of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers.
The son of Jake and Sadie (DeVries) Altena was born June 29, 1927 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
He was a self employed Electrician. He was a devout Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wanda Brisco; and a brother, Aubrey Altena.
Survivors are his wife, Ladene Altena of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Belinda Altena of Rock Valley, Iowa; daughters and sons-in-law, Evonne and Gerrit Rozeboom of St. Joe, Arkansas and Cindy and Rich Richardson of Garfield, Arkansas; son-in-law, Junior Brisco of Pyatt, Arkansas; brothers, Leroy Altena of Maurice, Iowa and Elroy Altena of Hull, Iowa; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday with service Friday, September 2, 2011, both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Harlan DeJong officiating.
Burial followed in White Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.
