Sandra Diane Matheson, of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Countryside Nursing and Rehab Center in Jasper.  She was 77 years old.

The daughter of Clifford and Violet (Jacobson) Bostrom was born on June 17, 1948 in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

Sandra was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of Miracle Lighthouse Church. She had a compassionate heart, always extending kindness to the homeless and those in need, often volunteering her time with organizations dedicated to serving the less fortunate. Sandra was also a gifted cook who found great joy in preparing meals for family, friends, and anyone in need of comfort. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt—her warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marilyn Rentschler; and one brother, David Bostrom.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Gerald Matheson; two sons, James A. Matheson and Phillip A. Matheson and wife, Joanie; one daughter, Carissa Christensen and husband, Jay; seven grandchildren, Zach, Timothy, Keziah, Isaac, Josiah, Shekinah, and Isaiah; two sisters, Carol Bostrom and Lori Jelinski and husband, Larry; two brothers, Charlie Bostrom and wife, Linda and Jerry Bostrom and wife, Lee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held in Minnesota.
