Ruthie M. Wyatt, age 80 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Frank and Margaret (Horn) Eddings was born October 22, 1929 at Eula, Arkansas.
Ruthie was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was known as "Granny Ruth" or "Aunt Ruth" to the entire St. Joe community. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her.
She was a member of Pine Bluff Community Church where she led the singing for more than 50 years.
Her parents preceded her in death along with her husband, Robert J. Wyatt; and eight brothers and sisters.
Her survivors are children, Ricky D. Wyatt of St. Joe, Robert M. Wyatt of Western Grove, Tom Wyatt of St. Joe, Roger Wyatt of Yellville, and Rita J. Dean also of Yellville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, March 26, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Services were Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Holder officiating.
Burial followed in Osborne Cemetery at St. Joe with pallbearers being Ruthie's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Corey Jackson and the staff of Sam Alexander Pharmacy.
