Obituary
Ruth Ann Conway, age 73 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Archie and Eula (Manley) Stratton, she was born November 25, 1935 at Zinc, Arkansas.
Ruth was a loving mother and a friend to everyone she met, known as "Granny Ruth". She retired from Tyson's after eleven years and was a volunteer at Boone County Health Unit.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Johnny Edward Conway; and a brother, Emery Stratton.
Survivors are her children, Johnny Earl Conway and wife, Shirley of Clarksville, TN, Mike Conway and wife, Linda of Bergman, Belinda Jones of Green Forest, and Rebecca Gammill and husband, Michael of Harrison; brother, Robert Stratton of Oregon; sisters, Mary Christian of Harrison, Judy Carter of Yakima, WA, and Verna Henderson of Lead Hill. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Graveside service was Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Davidson Cemetery, near Harmon with Keith Fisk officiating. Pallbearers were Jay Gardner, Johnny Gammill, Michael Jones, Johnny Conway, James Gammill, Randy Henderson, Kenny Christian, and Michael Turner.
Honorary pallbearers were Boone County Health Unit and Home Health Services and also Brian Bellinghouser.
