Obituary

Russell Kent "Rusty" Sanders, age 53 of Valley Springs, Arkansas gained his heavenly wings Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Harrison.

The son of Luther "Woody" Sanders and Mava (Gray) Baker was born on March 6, 1963 in Nevada, Missouri.

Rusty enjoyed hunting, fishing and grilling. He was a professional morel hunter and loved kids.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Cisco Gray and Mayme and Luther Sanders; one infant baby Sanders; and his father-in-law, Skip Bright.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Sanders; one son, Hunter Sanders; one daughter, Lexi Sanders all of the home; his parents, Woody Sanders of Harrison and Mava Baker and husband Paul of Harrison; 2 brothers, Jeff Sanders and wife Taesha of Harrison and Joel Baker and wife Juanita of Blue Eye, Missouri; 2 sisters, Melissa Jones and husband Richard of Harrison and Beth Phelps and husband Billy of Springdale, Arkansas; his mother-in-law, Bonnie Bright of Harrison; his grandmother-in-law, Nina Bright; his brothers-in-law, Todd Fulton, Steve Reddell, Mike Willis, Glen Nelle, Alan Bright, Albert Bright and Mike Corley; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Fulton, Loretta Reddell, Leah Willis, Lashana Nelle, Leslie Corley, Lyndsey Hardman and Lacy Bright; 45 nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many others who will mourn his passing.

Services for Rusty will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church of Valley Springs with Gabe Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Holmes Cemetery in Bellefonte. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison.

Pallbearers include Richard Jones, Todd Fulton, Steve Reddell, Mike Willis, Glen Nelle, Alan Bright, Albert Bright and Mike Corley.

Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Coble, Dr. McCall, Kiley Smith, Tiffany Alge, Kathy Gillitt, Michelle and Brock Riggs, Joel Baker, Billy Phelps, Brandi Cooper, Austin Drewry, Ben Eddings, Steven and LeeAnn Wayman, Matt and Amber Wilson, Diana Lane, Josh Tramell, Jennifer Martin, Will Smith, Donnie Hancock, Heath Jackson, Brandon Olson, the Doctors and staff of Regency LTAC, MD Anderson Hospital, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center and Ozark Cancer Clinic.
