Rufus Ray Bolin, age 78 of Mt. Judea, AR, went to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

He lived in Mt. Judea most of his life and had been in the Logging business for 40 years. After he retired, he enjoyed restoring classic cars. Among his collection was a 1939 Dodge car and a 1940 Dodge truck.

Rufus was a friend to everyone he met, everyone that knew him loved him. He was always willing to help anyone in anyway he could. Rufus was always ready with a funny remark to make you laugh. He was the best husband, father, and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Rose Bolin.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Betty Bolin of the home; his son Tracy Bolin and wife Sharon of Mt. Judea; his granddaughter Lindsey Cross and husband Waylon of Western Grove, AR; his grandson, Trenton Bolin and wife Jessica of Jasper, AR; three great-granddaughters, Shaley Cross of Western Grove, Camber and Braylee Shrum of Jasper; and one great-grandson, Trayton Cross of Western Grove.

Rufus is also survived by his sister, Ruth Dotson and husband Russel of Camden, MO; two brothers, Tom Bolin of Western Grove and Bob Bolin and wife Evelyn of Huntsville, AR; and many other nieces, nephews and friends and family that will miss him dearly.

Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at his home in Mt. Judea AR, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating.
