Obituary
Ruby B. Seymore, age 58 of Harrison, AR passed away Friday, December 22, 2006 at her home.
The daughter of Norman Preston Benson, Sr. and Evelyn (Chambers) Benson was born on November 23, 1948 in Miami, Florida.
She had lived most of her life in Arkansas. She was a member of Oaklane Freewill Baptist Church and a former pianist for the First Baptist Church of Jasper. She loved her Lord & Jesus Christ above all and prayed for her children, grandchildren, and other family continuously. She enjoyed music, singing, drawing, crocheting, and cooking for her children.
Survivors are her mother, Evelyn Benson of Miami, Fl; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Seymore, III and Alice Seymore of Harrison, Norman Randall Seymore and Shelly Seymore of Batesville, and Ben Seymore and Robin Seymore of Harrison; daughters and sons-in-law, Lora Webb and Geoff Webb of Lead Hill and Christy Lawson and Jeremy Lawson also of Harrison; grandchildren, Ami Webb, Zach Seymore, Hannah and Braden Seymore, Ian and Erin Seymore, Aidan Lawson, and two grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Norman Preston Benson, Jr. of Arkansas and sisters, Grace Hall of Missouri and Louise Coolidge of Florida.
Service was held Saturday, December 23 at the First Baptist Church in Jasper. Rev. Lonny Burks officiated. Burial was in Jasper Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Oaklane Freewill Baptist Church, Hospice of the Hills, or to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
