Ruby Lee (Ricketts) Perry Monchil, age 69 of Kansas City, KS, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 at her sister's home in Harrison, AR.
The daughter of Mitchell G. and Addlee (Bolin) Ricketts, was born December 4, 1937 at Mt. Judea, AR.
She was a real estate broker for 24 years and a homemaker. She attended the Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Her parents preceded her in death along with her brother, Devoe Ricketts; her first husband, Paul Perry; and her second husband, Samuel Monchil.
Survivors are her sister, Audrey (Ricketts) Petree and her husband, Don Petree of Harrison; and brothers, Ronnie Henson of Mt. Judea and Donald Henson of Nashville, TN.
Service was Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Mt. Judea Church with Rev. Dorvin Ricketts and Rev. Wesley Ricketts officiating. Burial was in Mt. Judea Cemetery. Pallbearers were Aaron Eddings, Todd Eddings, Jamison Eddings, Michael Eddings, Shawn Burdine, Jarred Henson, Jeremy Ricketts, and Nicholas Fowler. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Steve Shrum and his staff of Cornerstone Medical Clinic, Jimmy Campbell, Don Petree, Joe Charles Nichols, and Rex Bolin. Visitation was Friday, July 6, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
