Ruby Mae Lakey, 73 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at home on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

She was born at England, Arkansas, on June 24, 1946, the daughter of Cecil and Nossie Mae (Fullerton) Clubb. She was a longtime resident of Huntsville before moving to Harrison.

Ruby adored her grandchildren; they were her life. She was strong-willed and patient and loved by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis "Steve" Lakey, her parents, Cecil and Nossie Clubb; her brothers, Ralph McKnight, Duane McKnight and his wife Charline; sisters, Mildred "Vergie" Hodge, Violet McCoy and husband Clyde; and nephew Ronnie Hodge.

Ruby is survived by her son, Stephen Brian Lakey and wife Kimberly and her daughter, Amy Lakey; her sister, Minnie Teeter and husband Danny; her sisters-in-law, Jolene Lakey and Sue McKnight; five grandchildren, Shane Holder, Sherrie Lakey, Haley Lakey, Allie Lakey and Hunter Lakey; two great grandchildren, Brynn Holder and Cale Holder; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison with Dan Baker and Peggy Clements officiating.

Burial will be at a later date at Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Arkansas.
