Roy Terrill, age 83, of Harrison, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice Home in Bentonville, Arkansas with his wife by his side.

Roy was born May 6, 1941 to Bennie and Roxie (McEntire) Terrill of Tomahawk, Arkansas.

He graduated from St. Joe High School in 1959. He was married to his loving wife, Martha Chadwick Terrill, for 41 years.

Roy was employed as a master mechanic for many years at St. Joe, Lead Hill, and Bruno-Pyatt schools.

Roy was a member of Capps Full Gospel Church in Harrison and enjoyed playing the guitar during worship. He loved Jesus and his family and friends. Roy always brought joy and laughter to those around him. He was an avid Arkansan who loved to fish, camp, hunt, and just be with his family and friends. He was very giving of his time and always willing to help others.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Roxie Terrill; his sisters Dorothy Glenn, Julia Mae Still, and Idella Still; and his daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Allen Snyder.

Roy is survived by his wife, Martha Chadwick Terrill; three stepdaughters, Bonnie Murray and husband, Granvel of Rogers, AR, and Holly Kelley and husband, James of Bergman, AR, and Shannon Edmonson of Farmington, AR; five grandsons, Anthony Murray, Tyler Rogers, Brett Edmonson, Logan Murray, and Drew Edmonson; four granddaughters, Heather DuVall, Hannah Klinger, Carissa Stalnaker, and Kamri Rogers; and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 AM, Monday, September 30 (2024) at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home. Pastor Eddie Reed will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Pallbearers will be Granvel Murray, James Kelley, Anthony Murray, Tyler Rogers, Brett Edmonson, Logan Murray, and Drew Edmonson.
