Roy C. McGinnis, age 84, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Hospice House in Mt. Home, AR.
The son of Carl and Minnie (Dardin) McGinnis was born October 23, 1925 in Seminole, Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Lurton Assembly of God church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Paul McGinnis; and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife Ida Mae (Pelham) McGinnis; his daughters, Rheta and Bill Jackson of Witts Springs, AR., Mary Lou and Joseph Cunningham of Calera, OK., Shirlene and Mono Fuentes of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Pauline Hutchons of Russellville, AR; his sisters Dorothy Aliff of Dardanelle, AR. and Evlyn Williams of Oregon; his grandchildren, Rheta Gahagan, Curtis Griffis, Dana Cunningham, Jeremiah Cunningham, Shirley Lane, and Michael Hutchons and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00pm Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Coleman Cemetery in Pelsor, AR. with Pastor Stan Taylor officiating. Funeral arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
