Obituary
Roy Cornell Henson, age 81 of Mt. Judea, AR, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab in Dardanelle, AR.
The son of Troy and Iva (York) Henson was born March 14 1934 in Big Creek, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
Roy was a member of Bethlehem Pentecostal Church in Mt. Judea. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and painting. He also enjoyed reading the Bible and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife Georgia Angeline (Hudspeth) Henson of Mt. Judea, AR; his daughters, Kerry Campbell and her husband Rondal of Mt. Judea, AR and Joan Bolin of Harrison; his son Glen Henson of Mt. Judea; his brothers, James Henson and wife Louis of Harrison, Donald Henson of Mt. Judea, and Ronnie Henson of Mt. Judea; his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Josh Bolin, Angela Mathis, Ashley Massengale, Derek Henson, Christian Henson, Jacob Henson, Nicholas Campbell, Mariah Campbell, Charm Campbell, and Andrew Campbell; and his great grandchildren Annabelle, Mattis, and Grady Massengale, and Keiana Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday October 5, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Piercetown Holiness Church with Jethy Henson and Wayne Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Bolin, Rondal Campbell and Matt Massengale, Gary Henson, Larry Henson, and Junior Henson.
Honorary pallbearers are Terry Henson and Baxter Mathis.
