Obituary
Roy L. Cecil, age 65 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The son of Eldridge and Rilla (Luellen) Cecil was born March 4, 1949 in Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Betty Cecil; and a grandson, Bubby Brockman.
Roy was an avid golfer, enjoyed goose and duck hunting and was a big supporter of Ducks Unlimited. He also enjoyed his church life and was a member of Olvey Bible Church.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Juanita (Harmon) Cecil of the home; sons, Steve Cecil of Harrison and Roger Cecil of Hannibal, Missouri; daughters, Shellie Clayborn of Harrison and Misty Dewitt of Hannibal, Missouri; brothers, Doy Cecil and wife Marilyn of Benton, Arkansas, Clifford Cecil and wife Cindy of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Eddie Cecil and wife Judith of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Megan Cecil, Brittannie Cecil, Sydnee Brockman, Sarah Dewitt, and Bethannie Dewitt; and three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Wise, Peighton Wise and Annabelle Lampkin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service was Monday, July 14, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Brown officiating.
Burial followed in White Church Cemetery with pallbearers being Jeff Pugh, Ken Sandy, Jeff Fountain, Carl Cecil, Jeff Harris, and Danny McMullin.
