Obituary
Roy Fay Bartlett, age 71 of Compton, AR passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at home.
The son of Robert and Lula (Plumlee) Bartlett was born May 23, 1934 at Possum Trot, AR. He was a timber worker and farmer, and was a member of the Mountain Spring Creek Church.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ida Mae; a daughter, Linda May Bartlett; a brother and a sister.
Survivors are his wife, Lenora of Compton; sons, Kenneth Bartlett of Compton and James Bartlett of Bergman; grandchildren, Casey Gusosky, Monica Napier, Tasha Bargay, Cody Bartlett, Audrianna Bartlett, Tyler Bartlett, and Kyle Bartlett; five great grandchildren; a step-son, Elmer Plumlee of Nucla, CO; step-daughters, Debra Long of Compton and Tamara McGill of Batavia; eight step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
Service was held on Monday, May 1 at Plumlee Church with Rev. Charles Christian officiating. Burial was in Plumlee Cemetery. Pallbearers included Kenneth Bartlett, James Bartlett, Jeffery Armer, Earl McGill, Willie Long, and Chris Daniels.
