Roxanna Holt age 53 of Vendor, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The daughter of Dennis and Niva (Ewing) Holt was born on April 7, 1963 at Harrison, Arkansas.

Roxanna graduated Mt. Judea High School in 1981.  Upon graduating high school she attended the University of Arkansas where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1985. Roxanna accepted a job at Deer School where she taught Special Education. In 1992 she moved to Springfield, Missouri where she taught Special Education at Hillcrest High School. She enrolled in Southwest Missouri State University to complete her second masters degree in Educational Administration in 1995. Roxanna moved back to Harrison, Arkansas where she served as Director of Boone County Special Services. She accepted the principal position in 1997 where she spent the remainder of her career as an educator. During her tenure at Mt. Judea she completed her Specialist in Education for Educational Leadership in 2013. Roxanna enjoyed learning and made it her life goal to educate others.

She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Holt; her grandparents Wayne and Edna Holt and Howard and Maggie Ewing and a very special uncle Glen Holt.

Survivors are her mother Niva "Bobbie" (Ewing) Holt of Vendor, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law Steven and Melissa Holt of Mt. Sherman; a very special aunt Valarie Holt of Vendor; two nieces Jordan Holt and fiance Brent Gwin and Kenadee Holt and one nephew Zach and wife Kaylan
Holt; a host of aunts, uncles cousins and other family and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Mt. Judea School Gymnasium with Brother Phil Pittman and Brother Rex Middleton officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Vendor, Arkansas under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.

Visitation will 5-8 P.M. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers will be Nicky Holt, Randy Holt, Travis Holt, Zach Holt, Robbie Dodson and Donnie Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Jordan Holt, Kenadee Holt, Jess Holt, Rita Greenhaw, Joan Bolin and all the staff and students at Mt. Judea School.
