Rosa Lea (Rosie) Oberley, age 89, a resident of Harrison Rehab and Health, found peace with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2016 knowing that she will finally be reunited with her husband and daughter.
The daughter of Darrell Ramsey and Pearl Ann Hudspeth Ramsey, was born on September, 14, 1926 in Yampa, Colorado.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband Andrew James Oberley in 2000 and her daughter Judith Ann Oberley Lott in 2012.
Rosa is survived by her son, Ronald Oberley and his wife Bernadette of Westboro, Wisconsin, her sister, Connie Grinder and her husband Howard of St. Joe, AR., her brother Bob Cash and his wife Stacy of Harrison, AR. She is also survived by her grandsons, Christopher Oberley of Castle Rock, Colorado, Scott (Jennifer) Oberley of O'Fallon, Missouri, Robert (Desiree Thompson) Oberley of Washington Court House, Ohio and Matt (Jill) Olson of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. She is also survived by six great granddaughters, six great grandsons and various nephews.
Rosa enjoyed teaching, reading, knitting, her beloved pets and especially being the proud owner/editor of the News Leader newspaper while she lived in Clermont Florida with her husband Jim.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Love Cemetery in St. Joe, AR with Pastor Bobby Brown officiating. There will be no visitation.
