Ronny Joe Taylor, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.  He was 77 years old.

The son of Floyd Thomas and Bertie Emmalee (Ayers) Taylor was born on April 14, 1945 in San Francisco, California.

Ronny was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a devout Christian of the Baptist faith.  Ronny worked as a truck driver for a number of years before he retired.  He loved trout fishing and loved his home and family.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Abbie Taylor, of the home; one daughter and her husband, Sabra and Joe Quals, of Mtn. Home, AR; one granddaughter, Jennifer Gordon, of Mtn. Home, AR; one sister, Pat Parnell, of TX; one brother, James Taylor, of TX; six stepchildren, James Smith and wife, Dora, Wanda Woods, Roy Lee Smith, Carl Smith and wife, Melissa, Gerena (Doone) Heater, and Cynthia Rowland; and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Gaither Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dr. James Bryant officiating.
