Obituary

Ronald D. Hinson, of Harrison, passed away at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. He was 80 years old.

The son of E.D. and Eileen (Anderson) Hinson was born on July 25, 1941 in Springtown, Arkansas.

Ronald was a veteran of the Viet Nam War having served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Burlene Moose on March 14, 1962. Ronald was the owner of Master Chef for 22 years and was often referred to as the "PR man". He had an outgoing personality and loved to visit with his customers. Ronald also enjoyed going to Hillbilly Slim's to visit and fellowship with friends and customers. He enjoyed hunting, sports, yardwork, and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Ronald and Burlene were longtime members of the Bergman Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Burlene Hinson; two sons, Ronald Dwayne Hinson and Jeffery Scott Hinson; one daughter and her husband, Laurel and Tony Taylor; two brothers and their wives, Farrolle and Marilyn Hinson and Lindal and Marquetta Hinson; one sister, Sharon Howell; nine grandchildren, Heath Taylor, Ashley Cooper, Sam Hinson, Chelsey White, Tristan Hinson, Samantha Berdine, Scott Hinson, Brent Hinson, and Caden Hinson; 14 great grandchildren, Brinley, Ellsie, Taylor, Aiden, Zander, Riley, Kasey, Anna, Maggie, Alexia, Kaydence, Isabella, Nikolai, and Jessamy; sister-in-law, Deborah Spegial and husband, Gene; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Funeral service will be Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Bergman Church of Christ at 2:00 PM. Larry Keener will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Scott Hinson, Brent Hinson, Heath Taylor, Tristan Hinson, Ethan Cooper, and Ty Anderson. Honorary pallbearers include Tony Taylor, Art Rogers, Ron Stewart, Danny Jo Ruff, Darrell Hendrix, Ethan Hoerchgen, and Casey Mepham.
