Roger Dale Lawson, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.  He was 69.

He was born November 16, 1953 in Dewitt, Arkansas.

Roger had worked as a police officer, retiring from Harrison Police Department.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time talking to his CB buddies.  He was an avid knife collector.  Roger was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be missed by those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Ida Murriell (Collier) Russell, and two sisters, Millie Lawson, and Wanda Emerson.

Roger is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Lawson; his son, Bradley (Krystal) Day of Harrison; daughters, Gail Herbert (Shayne) and Shelly Moore (Joe) all of Mount Vernon, MO; a brother, Joseph Lawson of McGehee, AR; 10 grandchildren, one great granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many dear friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 9, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Grandma's House, 501 W. Stephenson Ave,. Harrison, AR 72601.
