Roger Dennis Dean, age 61 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his home.
The son of David Walker Dean and Hazel Pearl (Martin) Dean was born April 18, 1952 in Oakdale, California.
Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Highway Church of Christ. He worked for Claridge Products for 39 years and was a lead man. He enjoyed motorcycles, playing pool, hunting, and fishing. He especially enjoyed his life with his family and was loved by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a son, Randy Dean.
Survivors are his wife, Faye (Baker) Dean of the home; his father, David Dean of Harrison; children, Jamie Dean of Bergman, Monica Barnard and husband, Nathan of Harrison, Jason Redding and wife, Jeri, and Andrea Dean of the home; brother, Ronald Dean and wife, Patsy of Harrison; sister, Nancy Dean of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Cody and Trent Dean and Payton, Parker and Brody Barnard; and many nieces and nephews.
There was no visitation.
Service was Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Highway Church of Christ with Jimmie Smith officiating.
Burial followed in Osbourne Cemetery at St. Joe with pallbearers being Drew Baker, Jason Redding, Ronald Baker, Wes Mann, Leonard Baker, and Jamie Dean.
Honorary pallbearer was Ronald "Ronnie" Dean.
