Obituary

Robert "Bob" Yost, age 62 of Harrison, Arkansas passed peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, with his family by his side.

Bob served in Vietnam as a Medic. Most of the men knew him as "Doc". He was well respected and was loved by the service men he came into contact with.

After the service Bob tried many different things but found his calling as a professional painter. He worked in that profession for over 30 years.

Bob was a kind and generous man to everyone he met regardless of what walk of life they came from. He was also willing to help anyone in need and was a friend to everyone who needed him.

He had a way of bringing people back to the reality of what "love" and "friends" were all about.

We will carry Bob's memories and love in our hearts always.

Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra (Wilson) Yost; two daughters and their families, Christina and Michele; one granddaughter, Skylar; five grandsons, Terry, Xavier, Jason, Codey, and Austin.

He is also survived by one sister, Ginger McFarland and family; four brothers, Steve and David Holland and family, and Jack and Phil Kemp and families.

Bob was supported and loved by many brothers-in-law and sisters -in-law, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews from both sides of his family.

Visitation was open Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Graveside service was Friday, August 9, 2013 at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made for the family in Robert Yost's name to First Federal Bank, Harrison, Arkansas.
