Robert Eugene Thomas, age 66 of Harrison, passed away at his home on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006. The son of Virgil and Fairy Thomas, was born April 21, 1940 at Buckland, Ohio. He had lived in this area for 10 years, moving here from Tulsa, OK. He was an Army veteran and worked at Boone County Independent Living. His daughter said, he was a good father, the rock of their family, never met a stranger and was loved by all his family.
His parents; 1 infant brother and 1 daughter, Brenda Kay Thomas all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Nell Thomas of the home; 3 children, Tonya Hunter of Missouri, Mary Thomas of Tulsa, OK and Robert Thomas of Sand Springs, OK; 2 sisters in Tulsa, OK; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Memorial service was held Nov. 1, 2006 at his residence. Glen Griffin officiated.
