Robert Glen Sappenfield, age 54 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.

The son of Robert Calvin Sappenfield and Carrie June (Merritt) Gibbons was born July 19, 1960 in Lodi, California.

Robert loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a very talented musician and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, making wood carvings and was a very good story teller.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and two brothers, Archie Sappenfield and Marvin "David" Sappenfield.

Survivors are his children, Robert John Sappenfield and wife Deliz of McKinney, Texas, Travis Atkins of Addison, Texas, Lisa Tidey and husband Jack of Rogers and Tina Ward and Billy Manning of Rogers; sisters, Debbie Breedlove and husband Troy of Valley Springs and Teresa Husser and husband Brandon of Omaha; and eight grandchildren.

Service was 2 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Doug Burris officiating.

Visitation was 12-2 P.M., prior to the service.

Burial was in Carver Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were of Robert's friends.
