IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lynn
Rose
August 1, 1955 – August 20, 2022
Robert Lynn Rose, of Harrison, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was 67 years old.
The son of Hershel and Bennie (Battershell) Rose was born on August 1, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Christian and absolutely adored his family. Robert loved music and playing his guitar. He had a passion for guns and shooting and especially enjoyed taking his grandsons out for a day of shooting at the range. Robert also enjoyed drag racing and even had his own dragster rail. Fishing, driving, and going to casinos were other hobbies that he immensely enjoyed. Robert also took great pride in his health and fitness and enjoyed working out and weightlifting.
Robert worked for UPS as a delivery driver for 12 years, a career that suited him perfectly! He also worked for Windstream Communications and eventually went on to work at Pace Industries. After his retirement from Pace Industries, the "quiet-retired" life didn't sit well with Robert, so he went to work at the Valley Springs School where he enjoyed his work as a custodian.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Ed Carter.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Diana Rose, of the home; one daughter and her husband, Kristin and Jon Mullins, of Harrison; two grandsons, Keegan Morgan and Ocean Mullins; one brother, David Rose, of San Francisco, CA; one niece, Beth Andreasen; one nephew, Daniel Carter; and a host of friends and extended family.
