Robert Lawson Peasley, Sr., 88 of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Bob died of natural causes, and he will be missed by so many.

He was born in Bloomington, Illinois on September 8, 1936, the son of Lawson Downes Peasley and Edna Gordon Peasley. Bob dedicated his life to family and friends, and he helped so many with so much. He worked as a mechanic and maintenance specialist for twenty-plus years for Harrison School District. After he retired from work, Bob enjoyed collecting coins, fixing up old houses, and spending time with his family and being a good neighbor.

Bob was blessed with six children and had 30 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Peasley; daughter, Donna Peasley; a grandson, Richard Peasley; and three sisters, Dorothy, Carol, and Amy Peasley. Bob is survived by his remaining four children, daughters, Sue Peasley and Bonnie (Brian) Watson; sons, Bill (Gayla) Peasley and Bob Peasley, Jr. He remained life-long friends with his ex-wife, Teri Jones, who also survives him as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Visitation will be Friday, June 20 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Maplewood Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home. Billy Joe Peasley will officiate.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
