Obituary

Robert Begley Napier, age 91 was born August 18, 1923 in Mosley Bend, Kentucky. He passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.

First Class Sergeant Robert B. Napier was drafted at age 19. He was a WWII veteran that gave over 20 years of service to his country. He was with our troops that met the Russians in Berlin and spent most of his military time overseas.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Eva Plunkett Napier; his mother, Vesta Langdon; his step-father, William D. Napier; sister, Joyce Napier; and brothers, Billie, Jasper and Samuel Napier.

Survivors are two brothers, Earl Napier of Cave City, Arkansas and Ashford Napier of Calico Rock, Arkansas; four sisters, Ruby Hicks of Harrison, Elizabeth "Betty" Napier of Sidney, Arkansas, Glenda Brumfield of Lexington, Kentucky, Cloe Monk of Crossville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

There was a military graveside service Friday, November 7, 2014 at Ft. Sill Post Cemetery in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.
