Obituary
Robert Joseph Kaehne, age 88 of Jasper, AR, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home.
The son of John Joseph and Lillian (Callendar) Kaehne was born March 8, 1930 in Chicago, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Robert lived in Minnesota and Illinois before moving to Jasper 12 years ago. He worked for over 20 years at Lithograph and also worked 21 plus years at Anderson Windows. He enjoyed bowling, dancing and was a lifetime Cubs fan. He worked in prison ministry for 20 years and he received great joy in singing and praising the Lord.
He is survived by his wife Marlyss Kaehne of Jasper, AR; his sons, Bruce Kaehne and wife Marsha of MN, Randy Kaehne and wife Judy of TN; his daughters, Tracy Kaehne of MN, Rochelle Brodin and husband Dwayne of MN, Dawn McLaurin of AR, and Kelly and Jeff Roettger of AR; his sister, Vivian Sargis and husband Andy of FL; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Brother Troy Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Jasper Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Kaehne, Randy Kaehne, Ben Brodin, Jeff Roettger, Kent Slape and Jake Kaehne.
Honorary pallbearer is Shane Madsen.
