Obituary
Robert Wayne "Bob" Harrison, age 75 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at his home.
The son of Wayne Harrison and Vergie (Henderson) Harrison was born November 1, 1938 at Jasper, Arkansas.
He was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard. He had worked in construction and was a farmer. "Bob" lived most of his life in Newton County and was a 1957 graduate of Jasper High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Ann (Waters) Harrison of Jasper; his children, Tommy and wife, Kathy Harrison, Kathy and husband, Bennie Joe Brasel, Virginia and husband, Lindsey Shellnut and Jody and wife, Beka Harrison all of Jasper; seven grandchildren, Samantha Jones, Sherry Stewart, Clayton Smith, Matthew Harrison, Leah Shellnut, Jesse Harrison and Hannah Harrison; two great-grandchildren, Shaylee Jo Jones and Rickey Dee Stewart.
Funeral services were Monday, February 24, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. Steven Holt officiating. Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery.
There was no visitation.
Pallbearers were Richard Waters, Jerry Waters, Jerry Harrison, Butch Harrison, Junior Reed Harrison and Jimmy Wayne Harrison. Honorary pallbearers were all his friends, too numerous to name.
