Robert "Bob" Gardner, of Harrison, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Hospice of the Hills House.  He was 74 years old.

The son of Jerry Rex and Ima Jo (Barrett) Gardner was born on March 3, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bob was a devoted member of The Church at Silver Valley.  He was an active and passionate member of the Gideons International for over 27 years where he served on the State Cabinet and did various mission trips in the U.S. and abroad.  Bob loved his family and especially loved all the time he got to spend with his grandchildren.  In his younger years, Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Connie Gardner; one son and his wife, Jerry and Christy Gardner; one daughter, Jeanne Reed; three grandchildren, Shelby Gardner, Leela Reed, and Jaxson Reed; two sisters, Sue Shelton and Christy Oliver and husband, Don.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM both on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at The Church at Silver Valley.  Pastor Rodney Stromlund and Brother Tommy Turner will officiate.  Burial will follow at Milam Cemetery at Silver Valley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gideons International.
