Obituary
Robert "Bob" Earl Passmore, age 65, was born December 12, 1944 in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Damon C. Passmore and Ellen Jeka, and stepson of Nola Mae Passmore. He passed away suddenly at home in Harrison on Saturday, September 18, 2010.
Robert was a graduate of Harrison High School in 1962. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from 1962 until 1966. He worked until his retirement as a surveyor for the Arkansas Highway Department. He enjoyed reading and in earlier years, work on his farm. He was a past member of Valley Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepmother and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Coy Passmore and Mr. and Mrs. Braz White.
He is survived by one daughter, Robin Phillips and husband Josh of Harrison; brother and sister-in-law, Cloyd and Judy Passmore of Western Grove; sister, Dona Krisanits of Harrison; stepbrother and sister-in-law, Dr. James and Virginia Bryant of Harrison; and stepsister, Jo Ann Wilkinson of Harrison; nephew, James Wesley Passmore of Harrison; nephew and wife, Michael Shane and Trena Passmore of Harrison; niece and husband, Kara and Kris Isham of Bentonville, AR; nephew, Rey Madolora of Harrison; niece Renee Crabtree of Harrison; nephew, Richard Scaggs of Harrison; niece and husband, Michele and Kevin Henry of Monticello, AR; niece and husband, Amber and Kirk Goodrum of Arkadelphia, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends that mourn his passing.
Visitation was held at Coffman Funeral Home Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Funeral service was Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home with his stepbrother, Dr. James D. Bryant officiating. Interment followed in Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison.
Pallbearers were Bill Youngblood, Abe Akel, Jeff Malm, Randy Petty, Bob Hankins and Rodger Pettus.
Honorary pallbearers were Michael Shane Passmore, James Wesley Passmore, Richard Scaggs, Kris Isham and Rey Madolora.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
