IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert (Rob)
Crosley, Jr.
October 6, 1967 – October 6, 2024
Robert (Rob) Lee Roy Crosley, Jr., of Everton, Arkansas, passed away at home with his family on October 6, 2024. Rob was born on October 6, 1967, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Wilma Mae (Taylor) Crosley and Robert Lee Roy Crosley, Sr.
When he was 3 months old, Rob's mother took him to Germany where his father was stationed in the U.S. Army. They lived there for over 2 years and then spent time in Virginia, where his brother, Rick, was born, and in Texas. After they lost his father, Rob, his mother, and new little brother returned to Harrison for a short time. They moved to California in 1972 and spent the next 6 years there, leaving Rob with many great childhood memories and a stepfather who thought of him as his own. Near the end of fourth grade, Rob's family moved to Alpena, Arkansas, to be near his maternal grandparents. He made lifelong friends while attending Alpena Schools. He graduated in 1986 and went on to North Arkansas College where he graduated with his associates degree. He worked many types of jobs including well-drilling, servicing HVAC, and travelling the country installing church pews with Russell Smith. In 2010, Rob and Misti started their own cleaning and home maintenance service and were welcomed into their clients' homes like family. After Rob successfully tested for his home inspection license, he decided against making a career change because he'd become devoted to his senior clients.
Rob's favorite days were spent with his family, and he loved making his kids laugh. He enjoyed listening to music while working in the yard, swimming with his grandson, and watching an Adam Sandler movie with his kids. He was a gifted pen and ink artist and travelling aimlessly with his wife brought him great joy.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Crosley, grandparents, Oliver (Bob) and Helen (Rainbolt) Crosley, Bence and Othello (Rice) Taylor, and Pauline Finney; a special great uncle, Leland (Hap) Rainbolt; uncle, Terry Taylor; cousin, Henry Taylor; father-in-law, Robert Flores; and great friends, Jerry Reding and John Berry.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Misti (Flores) Crosley; daughters and sons-in-law, Allison (Ally) and Ty Holton, Trinadi and Nick Crosley-Gaden, Samantha (Sam) and Parker Shell; sons, Ian Crosley and Rian Crosley; grandson, Grayson Shell; parents, Wilma and George Finney; brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Rick) and Mary Crosley; nephew, Ricky Crosley; mother-in-law, Hilda Flores; brother-in-law, Ryk Flores; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Harry Heistand; sister-in-law, Jenny Rogers; aunts and uncles, Shirley and Paul Hancock, Bob and Brenda Taylor, Loretta and Bob Cheshire, and Linda Meyers; cousins, Larry, Paula, Greg, Jenny, Bobby, Chelsie, Lyndsee, Tyler, and many others as well as his lifelong friends, schoolmates, clients who became family, and his beloved Monster Finger.
