Robert McVey Crawford was born in Corydon, Iowa on February 13, 1931 and departed this life in Bergman, Arkansas on August 23, 2010.

Robert belonged to the Woodworker's Club and enjoyed working with his lathe and other woodworking tools. He wwas a service manager for AM International and was also a proud member of the United States Marine Corps.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; three sons, David Crawford and his wife Michelle of Bettendorf, Iowa, Michael Crawford and his wife Pam of Rockwall, Texas, Allen Crawford and wife Gail of Rockwall, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Chelsey and Jeremy Crawford; 2 step-grandchildren, Harry Rybolt and Dawn Mahoney; 2 brothers, James Crawford and wife Marie of Des Moines, Iowa and Kenneth Crawford and wife Carol of Garden Grove, Iowa; 3 sisters Virginia Auxier of Humeston, Iowa, Don Nell Joy and husband Hugh of Humeston, Iowa and Betty Helt of Indianola, Iowa; many nieces and nephews and great- neices and great-nephews and many friends. The family would also like to pay honor to Dr. Tom Langston and his staff and to the staff of Hospice of the Hills for their wonderful care of Robert.

Services in Harrison are a visitation on Thursday August 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm to be held at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.

Services in Humeston, Iowa are a graveside service to be held on Saturday August 28 at 11:00 am at Humeston Cemetery. The service will be presided by Pastor Dale O'Donnell. Services in Iowa will be handled by Kale Funeral Home of Osceola, Iowa.
