Robert "Bob" Bogan Reno, age 73 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper.
He was born January 4, 1937 in Monroe, Louisiana to Robert and Helen (Bogan) Reno.
He was an engineer for Gardner B.H. Construction in Houston, Texas and was owner/operator of the Jasper Conoco Station for several years until his health forced him to retire. He loved cooking at the Dutch Oven Cook-Offs, winning several trophies. He also loved his wolves and his many friends.
"Bob" was a Baptist and had moved to Newton County 19 years ago from Benton, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Margie Dianne (Snow) Reno of the home; five sons, Dustin Cody Reno of the home; Andrew Reno of Louisiana; Larry Reno of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Tony Reno of Florida and Robert Reno II of Oklahoma; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Memorial service was Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. David Faught officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Newton County Nursing Home.
