Rita Helen Marie Ward, of Diamond City, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Creekside at the Springs in Yellville, Arkansas.  She was 91 years old.

The daughter of Prudent J. and Edna (Boisvert) Lapointe was born on January 18,1932 in Leominster, Massachusetts.

Rita was a faithful member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Harrison.  She was a retired cook and caterer.  Rita was a giving person who enjoyed the friendships and fellowship of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ward; her parents; and two sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Norma Hotaling, of NY; and special friends and caregivers, Betty and Val Stechly.

No service will be held.
