IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rick
Rogers
November 1, 1957 – August 16, 2021
James Richard Rogers (Rick), age 63, of Bergman, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. The son of Arthur and Mary Ruth Rogers was born on November 1, 1957, in Harrison, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Ruth Rogers, and a son, Nathan Rogers.
Rick is survived by his wife, Loretta Rogers; daughter, Brandy (Rogers) Mincer and husband Tony Mincer; grandsons, Joshua Mincer "Buddyroo" and Elijah Mincer "Little Man"; in-laws, Jim and Imogene Clarkson; sister-in-law Gina and Phil Souers; sisters, Ruby and Don Nalley; Janet and Harold Breedlove; and Diane and Glen Coffman and many nieces, nephews, and family and friends that loved him so much.
Rick worked on every make and model of car, truck, bus, and boat imaginable. He gave new life to various racecars and even his daughter's first vehicle by giving them new paintjobs. He spent his summers at the lake with his wife and kids, and eventually did the same with his grandsons, who loved to catch perch off of Pa Pa's pontoon. He led many church worship songs, and he helped with several church renovations throughout the years. Rick found and saw needs and filled them, truly being the Lord's hand and feet. He was the ideal church member, doing what needed done, when needed, no questions asked. No words can describe how much he helped every person he came in contact with, without ever asking for payment. His laugh and his "Love You" will be missed until we see and hear him again.
Celebration of life for Rick and Nathan will be at 10 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Bergman High School Gymnasium with Pastor Denny Waters officiating.
