Richard R. Sneed, age 75 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born September 12, 1938 in Harrison, the son of Raymond and Lillian (Lewis) Sneed.
Richard served in the U.S. Army. He worked for the City of Harrison for many years and was in construction. He was the former owner and operator of Ozark Recording Studio where had been an Audio Technician for many different events and venues for top artists. He attended Harvest Assembly Church where he also ran the sound.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jannette Martin.
Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Imojean Sneed of the home; children, Angel Spicer and husband Tony of Harrison and Joy Sneed and wife Tanis of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Windel Sneed of Harrison and Kirby Sneed of Monticello, Arkansas; sisters, Carol Sneed of Harrison, Patty Riggins of Western Grove and Rhonda Selvidge of Harrison; and four grandchildren, Meagan Spicer, Lauren Spicer, Tori Sneed, and Ariana Sneed.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 17, 2014 with the service Wednesday, June 18, 2014, both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Bro. Todd Rogers, Bro. Arvin Adams and Bro. Frank Whiteside officiating.
Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery with pallbearers being Joe Anderson, Gary Larimer, Richard Neal, Steve Phelan, Randy McMasters, and Mike Hudson.
Honorary pallbearers were Harold Anderson, Chris Anderson, Pacer Selvidge, Joey Campbell, Steve Drain, and Aubrey Smith.
There is a memorial fund set up for the family at Community First Bank.
