Obituary
Richard D. Hicks, age 51 of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
The son of Harley Earl Hicks and Doris Marie (Hudson) Hicks was born April 11, 1956 in Ft. Worth, TX.
Richard was a Seismic Analyst for P.G.S.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sylvia Hicks; maternal grandparents, D.W. and Thelma M. Hudson; a brother, Danny Earl Hicks and an infant sister, Sylvia Marie Hicks.
Survivors are his wife, Rhonda (Howard) Hicks of the home; sons, Michael and Jason, both of Springfield, MO and the family pet, Dyna; his father, Earl Hicks and his wife, Evelyn of Houston, TX; mother, Doris and her husband, Jerry Hicks of Lead Hill, AR; sisters, Christina Marie Hicks of Houston, TX, Melissa LeAnn Rourke and her fiance', Shawn Carr of Dickerson, TX, and Kimberly Faith Rose and her husband, Billy of Corpes Christi, TX; nieces and nephews, Jessica Rourke, and Ryan and Meghan Rose.
He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was Monday, May 14 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Richard's memorial service was held Tuesday, May 15 at the First Baptist Church in Lead Hill with Rev. Glenn Crenshaw officiating.
Burial followed at Carrollton Cemetery in Lead Hill. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Howard, Jason Hicks, Earl Hicks, Jerry Hicks, Wayne Redwine, Steve Howard, Ron Howard, and Richard Ball.
